Farming Vault of the Assassin in Inferno act 2 for piles of elites

I have earlier mentioned this run, but post patch 1.0.4 some things have changed. For one this run had a lot of goblins, but not so much anymore. However, it is still a very good farming run in Act 2 and compared to act 1, you do get twice as many iLvl 63….which is pretty much the only thing you want!

Act 1 drops 2.0% iLvl 63 gear, while act 2 drops 4.1% iLvl 63, so as a rule of thumb, if you can farm inferno act 1 more than twice as fast as act 2, then stay in act 1. Once you have geared up to a point, where the only thing holding you back is your ability to find and facemelt elites, it is time to move on to the next act.

Or you might just want a change of scene….and act 2 can provide just that!
