D3 goldfarming spot – 400-500k per hour
You are most likely here for goldfarming advice. My current favorite is running Arreat crater on nightmare difficulty. I have made a detailed guide to my favorite gold farming spot in D3. You don’t need any high end gear, since it is all done on lower difficulties. You do need gold find gear, but that can be easily and cheaply found on the AH, since you don’t need anything but gold find on the gear. How much gold would you suggest someone spending to get farming gear?

I spent 300K and got it back in around an hour and a bit (since the 1.0.3a patch.) My tip is to go to a manageable level where you can kill elites without a problem, and stack up 5 NV and clear the act.
With 150gf + 100mf + 5NV this can be done in Act 1 Inferno, or Act 3 Hell
I was able to find Epic gear for Barbarian with Gold find in every slot except MH, and only spent about 100k gold. I went straight to farming Act 2 Hell, and cleared Act 2 and 3 without dying, and about 900,000 Gold in my pocket. I also have some really nice gear selling on the gold and RMAH from the run, which should bring my total to near 1M gold in about 3 hours. I expect that to go higher once I hit Act 3 and use the reload strategy on the Crater. I agree with Mushroom in that starting in Act 2 I am able to test the limit of the current GF gear I was able to cheaply buy. I suggest if you start dying you could then use some of the gold you now have to upgrade your gear if needed to farm Hell Act 3 and then Inferno Act 1 without dying.
I meant I went straight to Nightmare Act 2, and finished Act 2 and 3, and now am headed to Act 4 to hit the crater. At the end I mean to say the same thing, test out Nightmare early acts on the gear you can find cheap then move up after that.
Do you have a guide available on market trading and arbitrage?
Guys don’t you think that magical find on Inferno act 3 is better? I mean, 1M every 2 hrs is considered a nice gold farming rate, but you can buy that for a few cents and save all that time… looting a nice Inferno legendary item every week looks better and more profitable, and you can also level your character up. Idk much about D3, I’m just saying, cause in the last game I played I used to farm for gold at low levels, and I regret it deeply, cause I found better ways to make cash
